StarTrack IT improvements and temporary outage

23 April 2018: Essential maintenance that will improve efficiency and reliability of all StarTrack IT systems, is scheduled from 9pm on Saturday 28 April, until 9am the next morning, Sunday 29 April.

We’ve chosen this late Saturday, early Sunday, as the time that sees the least online traffic. But it may still affect some customers as all of StarTrack online systems will be unavailable including My StarTrack Online, the StarTrack website, and all tracking, lodgement and finance systems.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. Of course, if we can get back up online earlier in the night, we’ll do so.

Please note that our Australia Post systems are not affected at all by this change.

Prohibitions on in-bound international air cargo from Turkey - electromechanical devices weighing over 1kg

We wish to advise our customers that the Australian Government has recently imposed prohibitions on the carriage of air cargo that has originated from or transited through Turkey. This prohibition only relates to electromechanical devices weighing over 1kg.

Examples of these items include manufactured goods with an electric motor such as an electric powered sewing machine.

This legislation change is in addition to existing prohibitions on the carriage of air cargo that has originated from, or transited through, Syria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Yemen and Somalia.

Further details of the prohibitions can be found on the Australian Government’s Office of Transport Security website.
