The COVID-19 pandemic has led a major surge in parcel deliveries, as well as causing major disruptions to our delivery operations.

  • Many of our major processing facilities have been affected temporary closures.
  • On any given day a significant number of our people are in precautionary self-isolation in accordance with state regulations.
  • There are fewer flights available to transport parcels. Many domestic and international routes are currently suspended, and remaining routes have much lower frequencies.

Delays may be experienced

Major disruptions are still being experienced in Victoria. These disruptions may delay:

  • deliveries between locations within Victoria
  • deliveries between Victoria and other states and territories

Disruptions have eased in other states and territories, but delays may still be experienced and circumstances can change quickly.

Depot collections in Metropolitan Melbourne and Canberra have resumed now that COVID-19 restrictions have eased.

We’re doing our bit to keep the community safe and prevent the virus spreading – and this has meant changing how we do things. Social distancing within our processing facilities means we can’t always move items as quickly as we would like to.
